A 50-storey, office building for Mitsubishi Estate London provides a new addition to City of London’s cluster of tall buildings. The scheme includes extensive amenities for use by both tenants and the public throughout the height of the building including a viewing gallery at level 50. The building’s design has focussed on high sustainability, low energy and low embodied carbon initiatives in its construction and operation and has achieved BREEAM ‘Outstanding’ and EPC ‘A’ ratings. 8 Bishopsgate is understood to be the most sustainable speculative tall commercial scheme in the UK.
